The itinerary is quite flexible and tonight we will look for all those creatures who are more active at night time.
Most of the wildlife is active after sunset, specially in Summer time.
We will be able to observe kangaroos and wallabies grazing in to the grassland, shy possums climbing trees and mayne a solitary own flying around. At the end we will go to a secure beach where we will look for the little penguins borrowing in to the wild.

Our guid Luca was very friendly and lots of fun with great knowledge of the area. He showed us a view of KI we would not normally see.

Fantastic experience. Our guide knew where to look, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and had a great setup. Saw a range of different wildlife, learned about the history of the areas and kids loved it.

We have been to KI many times but this was the first time that we have done a nocturnal tour. It was fabulous. Born and bred Aussies but we learnt so much from Luca who was born in Italy! Great tour, saw lots of active animals and birds all from a very comfortable vehicle. Luca was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Also stopped for some star gazing amongst the clouds. Again Luca was very informative. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

I did the nocturnal tour with Luca who was able to include my booking at short notice while visiting Ki and it was a great experience. He has a great local knowlege and knows where to look to find all the locals that come out after dark. We managed to see kangaroo's, wallabies, possums, koalas, penguins and even an owl fly by after finding its evening meal. To top it off also got to do a little star gazing on a relatively clear night which was an amazing sight in itself. Definitely a must do if you are on the island and want to see the local wildlife in its natural surroundings and more active than during the day.

Nocturnal tour. Really good, we saw all the night-time fauna ~ roos, wallabies, echidna, possums,penguins and for me the high-light was the eerie white owl. The silent killer. And the stars, we stopped in an place without any town lights, awesome. Comfortable vehicle and knowledgeable guide. Luca certainly knows his stuff. Just one thing ~ two and a half hours was a little too long. Charlie and Helen, August 2021

This was a fantastic experience. Our guide was friendly and informative. We saw plenty of animals including kangaroos, wallabies, possums, a koala and little penguins. Also stopped to view the stars. A really wonderful night.
